We recommend authors to follow the specific “Guide for Authors” of the respective journal you are submitting to which can be found on the Journal Home Page. Editorial and Peer-review Process

Dr. Science journals operate single-blind peer-review process. Editors and reviewers are expected to handle the manuscripts confidentially and must not disclose any details to anyone outside of the review process.

Once submitted, manuscripts will be screened for the basic technical requirements and if it passes initial screening your paper is assigned to the potential editor for the submission. Further, it is reviewed by the editor or will be sent for peer review by the editor to the suitable external reviewers to evaluate the submission. External reviewers are typically granted 14 days to finish the assignment and as the assigned reviewers have completed their reviews, it is passed to the handling editor for further decision. When the decision is final, authors will receive the notification by email. The handling editor may decide to accept the article or suggest for minor/major revisions. If deemed unsuitable for publication, the editor may reject the article for publication in the journal.

If the manuscript has been accepted, the corresponding author will be notified by email and it will undergo eventual round of checks to make sure the formatting and content meet our technical requirements like author names and affiliations, funding statement, figure and table formatting, etc.

Further the manuscript will undergo proofreading process and a galley proof of article will be sent to corresponding author to correct any errors or misprints (only minor changes are allowed at this point). The final version of the article will be immediately available online with a permanent DOI link provided by Cross Ref and considered “in press” until the respective issue is published.

For any queries during the above process, kindly email us.
